This exhibition is sponsored by the family of  Robert Coleman Taylor and Lillian Gary Taylor.

Bestsellers: Popular Fiction in America is based on Rave Reviews: Bestselling Fiction in America, an exhibition produced by the University of Virginia Library in 2002. The original exhibition was curated in 2002 by Lynda Fuller Clendenning (formerly with the U.Va. Library) and John Unsworth (formerly with the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at U.Va.). Melinda Baumann, Hoke Perkins, Mercy Quintos Procaccini, Melissa Ragain, and John Unsworth revised and updated the exhibition.
