This site is a digital complement to the physical exhibition, “From Village to Grounds: Architecture after Jefferson at the University of Virginia,” displayed at the University of Virginia Library’s Main Gallery at the Mary and David Harrison Institute for American History, Literature, and Culture from September 15, 2009 - July 31, 2010.  The exhibition was curated by Richard Guy Wilson, Commonwealth Professor of Architectural History at the University of Virginia, in collaboration with Garth Anderson, Lydia Mattice Brandt, Emilie K. Johnson, Mercy Quintos Procaccini, and R.R.S. Stewart.  The site is housed at the University of Virginia.

The site contains rare architectural drawings, photographs, and more. The site has been created to enable public access to these materials in support of teaching, research, and scholarship. Educational institutions or affiliated individuals, school teachers, news organizations, and members of the public are all welcome to link to individual images or other content posted on the site and to download selected material for the above-authorized purposes.
