Tacking Iron

This small, handheld iron accelerates the setting time for dry adhesives activated by heat. Favored for its convenience in mending tears in paper, the tacking iron and heat-set tissue combination offers quick dry mounting for trained practitioners. A piece of release paper should always be placed between the iron and the mending tissue, as demonstrated at right.
