Dear Sir:
Referring to your letter of the 8th instant, to President Spencer, regarding rates on building material for the reconstruction of certain buildings at the University. I beg to advise that we will accept on this material, when from local point on our line, one-half local tariff rates, and on shipments originating beyond junction points on our line, we will reduce the proportions accruing to us out of the rates on such shipments, one-half.
